100,000 Free Tickets for Detty December: LASG Partners with Giwa Gardens to Reward Nigerians

To boost recreational tourism this festive season, Giwa Gardens Water Park, one of Nigeria’s premier family entertainment destinations, has announced plans to distribute 100,000 free tickets between December 13, 2025, and January 4, 2026.

The ambitious initiative is a collaboration between Giwa Gardens, the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture, and private-sector partners including Access Bank, FiberOne, MTN, Zenith Bank, and Awari App (Lost in Lagos).

In a move promoting inclusivity, Giwa Gardens will also sponsor 1,000 less-privileged children on December 13, providing free entry, meals, safety gear, and supervised fun activities to ensure a memorable experience.

According to the organisers, this partnership unites government and private-sector stakeholders with a shared goal: enhancing Lagos’ tourism economy while giving families an unforgettable festive experience.

Keji Giwa, Founder and CEO of Giwa Gardens, described the initiative as a festive gift for Nigerian families.
“Detty December is about joy, family, and togetherness. By offering 100,000 free tickets, we want Nigerians – both home and abroad – to enjoy an experience they can look forward to every year. Our partnership with Lagos State and private-sector leaders reflects our commitment to growing tourism in Lagos,” he said.

With this initiative, Giwa Gardens and LASG aim to make Detty December 2025 a landmark celebration for families, boosting both tourism and community engagement across Lagos.
