Ikpoba-Okha presents t-shirts, face caps to PRESCO ahead secondary school athletics championship

Ahead the second edition of the Ikpoba-Okha Secondary School Athletics Championship 2024, the local government, on Monday, presented t-shirts and face caps to PRESCO PLC as part of Council’s appreciation for the Organisation’s contributions to the games.
Chairman of the Ikpoba-Okha Sports Committee, Adams Imade, led the delegation to present the materials on Monday morning.
“The Council Chairman is extremely grateful for your immense contributions to the games, he has asked me to convey his administration’s gratitude for your support and to ask for your esteemed presence at the 2-day championship”, Imade noted.
Receiving the items on behalf of PRESCO, the Relations Manager, Tony Uwajeh, commended the Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Chairman for his commitment to sports development in the locality.
“The Council Chairman must be commended for his selfless commitment to the development of sports and culture; we are very much aware of his various initiatives at strengthening these all-important sectors; any government that comits to harnessing sports talents deserves all the support in the world.”
Uwaje noted that the organization’s support for the games was informed by Osayande’s sterling achievements at the Council, assuring that the Company will continue to throw its weight behind the Osayande-led administration.
The Ikpoba-Okha Secondary School Athletics Championship, scheduled to hold Thursday 2nd and Friday 3rd May, 2024, forms part of the Osayande-led administration’s policy-programmes to build capacity, enhance mental stability, improve physical strength, productively engage young students, and by extension, keep them off nefarious activities in the locality.
The event, which holds at the Western Boys High School, Ikpoba Hill, Benin City, 11am prompt, is proudly supported by PRESCO PLC, GUINNESS NIG, Ameosa Motors, Edo Internal Revenue Service and a host of others.
