Edo State Attorney General Affirms Government’s Commitment to Enhancing Human Capacity for Sustainable Development

The Honourable Attorney General and Commisioner for Justice, Edo State Dr Samson Osagie has affirmed the government’s readiness to enhance human capacity across all sectors of the State

The Attorney General made this commitment when he played host to members of the International Law Students Association (Uniben Chapter) who are set to represent Edo State and Nigeria at the International Rounds of the IBS ICC Moot Court Competition at The Hague, Netherlands.
He assured them of government support in enhancing intellectual property resources as it underscores the need for sustainable development and as such Goverment will do everything within it’s reach to aid Human Capacity Developmrnt
Dr. Osagie disclosed Edo State government’s commitment to sustainable development, which has prioritized the people’s needs and the rule of law.
He further reaffirmed the need for building human capacity as it will aid in driving sustainable development across all sectors of the state, noting that Goverment will do everything within it’s reach to aid Human Capacity Development.
Speaking earlier on behalf of the Association, Faith Morka, Secretary of the Association told the Hon.Attorney General that they were in the office to solicit support for the invitation gotten to represent Edo State at the International Student Association
The Secretary commended the Governor Okpebholo led state Government for it’s efforts and commitment in human and Infrastructural Development since its inception in Office
The Attorney General, Dr. Osagie also received a courtesy visit from leaders and exco members of Ohuan ward in Uhunmwode Local Government Area who sued for Unity in Uhunmwode Local Government Area
The Attorney General pledged to support efforts towards ensuring unity in the local government Area,
highlighting the importance of collaboration and cooperation in driving progress.
