Abuja – Serenity Royale Hospital has swiftly debunked a sensational online report claiming Nollywood actress Regina Daniels is battling severe drug dependence at their facility, labeling the document as entirely fake.
The fabricated medical file, which exploded across social media, purportedly detailed Daniels’ diagnosis of substance use disorder and her enrollment in a home detox program starting September 24, 2025. It even included a forged signature from the hospital’s Managing Director and Head of Clinical Services, Adekunle Adesina.
In a firm statement released on Thursday, the hospital washed its hands of the hoax:
“We’ve become aware of a circulating post about an alleged mid-term home detox report in the name of Serenity Royale Hospital concerning Nwoko Regina. To be crystal clear, this publication and its spread—filled with confidential details—did not come from us. We kindly ask the public to ignore it entirely.”
The scandal erupted just days after explosive allegations from one of Senator Ned Nwoko’s other wives, who took to Instagram to accuse Daniels of dragging her into drugs and alcohol six years ago, nearly torpedoing her marriage.
In a raw post, the co-wife painted a picture of Daniels as a toxic influence:
“You know my husband despises alcohol, drugs, and smoking. He’s made it plain: no wife of his will touch that stuff. The only reason you’re clashing with him now is his push for you to kick your drug and alcohol habit. “It’s always been a red line for him. His fast action on an intervention pulled me back from that nightmare road.”
Prior to this bombshell, the same co-wife had been posting idyllic family snapshots—clips of cozy moments with Nwoko and a serene getaway reel tagged: “Too busy building my peace, life, and family—no room for drama.”
Adding fuel to the marital blaze, Daniels’ brother, Samuel Ojeogwu (better known as Sammy West), walked free this week after an arrest on charges of criminal conspiracy, trespass, assault, intimidation, and theft. The case stemmed from a complaint allegedly lodged by Nwoko himself, hinting at deeper rifts in the high-profile household.
As the Daniels-Nwoko saga spirals, fans and followers are left dissecting the web of accusations, from substance scandals to sibling showdowns. One thing’s clear: in Nollywood’s glittering orbit, family ties can fray faster than a plot twist.
