The 33-year-old rapper went on social media to open up about the toll it’s taken on her, saying the constant attacks—both public and private—have left her genuinely fearing for her safety. She deleted the posts shortly after, but in them she wrote:
“It’s not funny anymore… it’s been over a year of this and I still can’t escape the harassment and threats. Sometimes I can’t sleep because I’m wondering if my life is actually in danger. This isn’t normal.”
The latest wave of drama appears to have been triggered when her estranged husband, Offset, briefly posted and then deleted the comment “My kid lol,” which many took as a jab at the newborn son Cardi welcomed last week with NFL player Stefon Diggs. The remark reignited speculation tied to Georgia’s paternity laws, which presume the husband is the legal father of any child born during a marriage, even if the couple is separated.
Cardi made it clear the problem goes far beyond internet gossip, explaining that when she ignores private messages and threats, the attacks spill into public spaces. She says she has kept receipts of everything and simply can’t take it anymore.
Meanwhile, Offset recently shared a shirtless photo carousel with the caption “Protecting my energy,” which drew criticism from fans who felt he hasn’t done enough to shield Cardi and their family from the chaos.
Cardi and Offset, who filed for divorce in 2024 after six years together, share three children: Kulture, Wave, and Blossom. Her fourth child arrived last week, with Stefon Diggs reportedly by her side in the delivery room.
When she announced the birth, Cardi described it as the start of a new chapter focused on healing, personal growth, and building the best possible life for her kids.
Looking ahead, she’s gearing up for her 35-date Little Miss Drama tour, set to launch February 11, where she promises fans the performance of a lifetime as she steps into what she’s calling her strongest era yet.
