APC Warns Adeleke: Stop Clubbing, Attend to State Issues

By Peter.

Osun State APC has launched a scathing attack on Governor Ademola Adeleke, accusing him of abandoning governance to chase nightlife across Southwest states while students suffer under skyrocketing school fees. đŸŽ€đŸ’ƒ

In a statement issued by party Chairman Tajudeen Lawal, the APC claimed Adeleke has been “dancing from one state capital to another,” turning himself into “a butt of jokes” at a recent music concert in Ibadan where he reportedly moved “like an untamed video vixen.”

“While students in state-owned tertiary institutions are left to their fate, battling exorbitant and unnecessary fees, the Governor is busy visiting different nightclubs, frittering away resources that should fund education and other critical sectors,” Lawal said, likening the scene to “Nero fiddling while Rome burned.”

The party demanded that Adeleke “stop frolicking around nightclubs” and focus on delivering good governance to the people of Osun.

Governor Adeleke fired back swiftly, dismissing the allegations as “devilish fabrication and mischievous propaganda” from a party suffering “single-digit popularity.”

Through his spokesperson Olawale Rasheed, the Governor insisted he has prudently managed state resources, delivering landmark projects in health, infrastructure, education, agriculture, workers’ welfare, pension payments, sports, and technology.

“The opposition has clearly run out of ideas. This is a failed attempt to rubbish a brilliant performance already applauded by local and international stakeholders,” the statement read.

The exchange has reignited the long-standing political rivalry in Osun, with social media buzzing over the viral Ibadan concert clips and heated debates about leadership priorities versus personal lifestyle.
