Nigerian singer, actor, and politician Banky W (Olubankole Wellington) and his actress wife Adesua Etomi-Wellington are celebrating their 8th wedding anniversary today, November 25, 2025.
Banky took to Instagram with his signature poetic tribute, reflecting on their journey since their star-studded 2017 wedding (#BAAD2017):
“8 years down, forever to go. So much more in love, so much room to grow. Someone once said ‘I give them 6 months’… Little did they know… the bond is unbreakable when the cord is 3-fold. My wife, baby mama, lover… From 2017 to eternity, we’re just getting started.”
The couple, who welcomed son Hazaiah in 2021 and daughter Zion in 2024, have become one of Nollywood’s most admired pairs, blending faith, humor, and mutual respect.
Adesua responded in the comments with heart and prayer emojis, while fans flooded the post with love:
