Former Big Brother Naija star Kiddwaya has revealed that his father, Terry Waya, is credited with discovering the iconic Banana Island in Lagos.
He shared the claim during a recent episode of the Off The Record podcast. When asked by the host, “I heard that your dad discovered Banana Island. Is that correct?” Kiddwaya responded:
“Yeah, I didn’t even know until I heard it during one of my trips.”
Terry Waya, a self-proclaimed billionaire, is known for his investments in real estate, agriculture, and the hospitality industry. His public profile grew significantly following his son Kiddwaya’s appearance on Big Brother Naija in 2020, bringing more attention to the Waya family’s business ventures.
