President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has directed Mamman Ahmadu to step down as the Director-General and CEO of the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP).
Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, announced the decision, explaining that it is part of a broader initiative to improve the efficiency and transparency of the BPP.
“The Director-General is to hand over to the most senior officer in the Bureau until a new Director-General is appointed,” Ngelale said.
