Breaking: Orhionmwon Councillors Pass Vote of Confidence in Ugiagbe, outlines Devt stride

We cannot afford to sacrifice Competency at the Alter of Political sentiments

ABUDU: Members of Orhionmwon Legislative Arm of Edo State on Monday passed a vote of confidence on the Executive Chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government Council, Hon. Newman Oghomwen Ugiagbe, adding that they remain satisfied with his leadership and developmental stride.

The vote of confidence on the Council Boss coincided with the End of Year get-together of the lawmakers as they recounted the Council’s achievement, in a Monitoring and Evaluation segment, as well as eulogised Ugiagbe for his positive impact on the people of Orhionmwon.

During the meeting, the Legislative Leader said “I rise this morning to move a motion that a vote of confidence be passed on the Executive Chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government, Hon. Deacon Newman Oghomwen Ugiagbe to continue the good work that he has always done, especially in the area of project delivery and developmental policies”

The legislators led by the leader, Rt. Hon. Daniel Osariemen further commended the chairman for his landmark performance which has pegged the local government at an enviable stand amongst others.

The lawmakers however assured the Chairman robust partnership, adding that they won’t allow political sentiment to thwart the development of the Council.
