Coordinator Office Of The First Lady Emphasizes need for Educator Capacity Training

The Coordinator Office of the First Lady, Edo State, Mrs Edesili Anani has reiterated the need for training and retraining of educators during a two days workshop.

The workshop was organised by Edo State, Senior Secondary Education Board (SSEB) held at John Odigie Oyegun Public Service Academy (JOOPSA),Benin City.

Mrs Anani said the theme, Repositioning SSEB for Effective Service Delivery through Teamwork, Technology, and Transformation, resonates with Governor Monday Okpebholo commitment to quality education.

The Coordinator further stated that transformative initiatives empowers educators and Edo State government is dedicated to excellence.

In his goodwill message, the commissioner of Education, Mr Paddy Iyamu said teamwork and technology is very important.

He encouraged educators to work together in harmony and leverage on technology advancement to enable them improve on their skills and impart effectively on their students.

Earlier in her opening speech, the Executive Chairman, Senior Secondary Education Board (SSEB) Maureen Ekhoragbon said collaboration is key to achieving effective goals in education.

She encouraged staff to embrace teamwork and create a more supportive and effective learning environment for students.
