The Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, Mrs. Edesili Anani, has emphasized the importance of women supporting one another in all aspects of life. She made this statement during a courtesy visit by members of New Vision Women Worldwide to her office at Government House, Benin City, Edo State.

Mrs. Anani encouraged women to remain steadfast and dedicated in their endeavors, stressing the value of skill acquisition. “Whatever your hands find to do, do it well. Our young girls need mentorship, and acquiring skills is crucial. We should encourage our children to gain vocational knowledge because we never know when such expertise might be needed,” she stated.

In her remarks, Princess Faith Obazuwa, President and Founder of New Vision Women Worldwide, commended Mrs. Anani for her tireless efforts in empowering women and girls across Edo State. She highlighted the organization’s mission to equip women and young girls with the necessary skills and knowledge to become independent, confident, and supportive partners in their homes and communities.

“As an organization, our primary objective is to empower women and the girl child. We believe that by doing so, we can create a ripple effect of positive change in society,” Princess Obazuwa noted.

She further extended an invitation to Mrs. Anani to serve as the organization’s Life Matron, acknowledging her impactful work. “Your influence and guidance would be invaluable in helping us achieve our goals. We are confident that together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of women and girls in Edo State,” she added.
