Coordinator Office Of The First Lady Urges Pharmacists to Combat Drug Abuse

The Coordinator Office of the First Lady, Mrs Edesili Anani has emphasised the state’s progress under the leadership of the Executive Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo, focusing on his SHINE Agenda, which encompasses Security, Healthcare, Infrastructure, Natural Resources, Education, and Empowerment.
Mrs. Edesili Anani, pointed out the progress while welcoming participants to the 26th Annual National Conference of the Association of Hospital and Administrative Pharmacists of Nigeria (AHAPH) in Edo State.
The conference, themed “Innovations in Pharmaceutical Care Delivery,” took place at the SIO Events Centre, Ikpokpa Road, GRA, Benin City.
Mrs Edesili Anani explained the government’s commitment to tackling critical issues like drug abuse, which affects society and is linked to insecurity.
The National Chairman of AHAPH, Pharmacist Oyim Elechi thanked the state government for its hospitality and support, expressing gratitude for the government’s presence at the conference’s opening ceremony.
