The Councillor-Elect for Ward 9, Owan East Local Government Area, Comrade Dele Emmanuel Ojeifo, has expressed profound appreciation to the people of Ward 9 and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for their overwhelming support during the recently concluded councillorship and chairmanship elections.
In a statement issued after the polls, Ojeifo described his victory as a collective achievement made possible by the confidence, commitment and resilience of the electorate, who turned out in large numbers to vote for the APC.
He extended heartfelt gratitude to the people of Ward 9 for their trust and unwavering support, assuring them that he would justify the mandate entrusted to him through responsible, inclusive and people-oriented representation.
The Councillor-Elect also paid special tribute to the Apex Leader of Owan East, Alhaji Abdulganiu Lawani, popularly known as Abu Millionaire, for his exemplary leadership, guidance and steadfast commitment to the growth and success of the APC in the local government area.
Ojeifo further acknowledged the encouragement and goodwill he received from his friends, former course mates and lecturers at the SPESSE Programme, University of Benin (UNIBEN). He noted that their support, prayers, advice and encouragement throughout the electioneering period contributed significantly to his success.
Reaffirming his commitment to the people, Ojeifo pledged to work diligently to deliver the dividends of democracy and promote development across Ward 9.
He thanked the people of Ward 9 for standing firmly with the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressing confidence that together they would continue to build a stronger, more united and prosperous constituency.
