A new intake photo of Sean “Diddy” Combs has surfaced, showing the music mogul upon his arrival at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey late last month. The image, first obtained and published by CBS News editor Cara Tabachnick, captures Combs looking subdued with graying hair and a beard, standing against a height chart in prison attire.

The report details Combs’ adjustment to life behind bars after transferring to the low-security federal facility on October 30 to serve just over four years following his conviction on prostitution-related charges.
He’s landed a coveted role as chaplain’s assistant—one of the prison’s most desirable jobs. Perks include a private air-conditioned office, shared meals from religious services, and duties like managing the chapel library, cleaning, and record-keeping. A former prison official described it as prestigious, while Combs’ publicist Juda Engelmayer called the environment “warm, respectful, and rewarding.”
However, just five days in, Combs faced discipline for a prohibited three-person phone call. Documents show he was discussing a New York Times statement with his attorney when his head of legal communications joined—violating Bureau of Prisons rules against multi-party calls due to security risks. He also mentioned bringing “200 singles” in cash for visits (though only coins are allowed) and referenced a “digital person” for blogs. Combs claimed he wasn’t informed of the rules; officials recommended losing 90 days of phone and commissary privileges.
Combs is also enrolled in the intensive Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP), which could shave up to a year off his sentence.
Earlier this week, he strongly denied separate reports of drinking homemade alcohol at Fort Dix, with his team stating on X: the allegations are “completely false.” They emphasised his focus on sobriety, self-improvement, and reuniting with family.
The photo and details have gone viral, sparking online comparisons (some to Jeffrey Epstein) and mixed reactions about his relatively comfortable setup amid a 50-month sentence.
