Don Jazzy has responded to a male X user who accused the music executive and other men of encouraging bad behavior in women.
The controversy began on Friday when a woman on X asked Don Jazzy for a Christmas gift. When the Mavin Records boss asked what she wanted, she requested help in paying off her debt and additional funds to start an NGO that supports people battling kidney-related ailments.
Her request sparked mixed reactions online, with many Nigerians criticizing her for asking for money. In response, the woman explained that she was not poor but needed support to launch the NGO, a long-time dream inspired by the loss of a loved one to kidney disease.
Despite the backlash, Don Jazzy later gifted the woman some money. This act drew further criticism from a male X user, who claimed that such gestures encourage bad behavior among women. Don Jazzy noticed the comment and publicly replied, sparking fresh reactions across social media.
