Ecobank Nigeria Launches Buyback for $150M Remaining 2026 Eurobond

Lagos, December 1, 2025 – Ecobank Nigeria Limited has initiated a tender offer for its remaining U.S. $150 million of the 7.125% Senior Note Participation Notes due February 16, 2026, providing holders an opportunity to redeem early as part of the bank’s proactive liability management strategy.

The offer, announced Friday, November 28, 2025, allows eligible Noteholders to tender their holdings for $1,000 per $1,000 principal amount, plus accrued and unpaid interest up to (but excluding) the settlement date. Originally issued for $300 million, $150 million remains outstanding.
