Edesili Anani Admonishes Youth to Embrace E-Commerce,Digital Marketing

The coordinator, office of the First Lady, Mrs Edesili Okpebholo Anani has encouraged youth in Edo State to key into e-commerce and digital marketing to be self reliant.
Mrs. Edesili stated this during a seminar organised by the Disciples in the market place worldwide (DIMP) annual international conference 2025 with the theme, Redeeming Work, at the Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub, Airport Road, Benin City on Saturday 22nd February 2025.
Mrs Anani who was ably represented by Pastor Mrs Mabel Obeto, Chief protocol officer to the Office of the first Lady, said Her Excellency sent her goodwill message to everyone at the event especially the youth and children, who are the active participants.
The president of the Disciples in the market place worldwide, Kelvin Stephens who explained that the academy is poised with the vision to train students and startup in Basic entrepreneurial Programme for free, added that this year, about 61 of the 123 enrolled students are qualified to graduate during a 13 week period.
Mr Stephens noted that the graduation of over sixty entrepreneurs and start-ups which also includes students from five tertiary institutions,
“The five top best graduating students, are four females, making it the second time a female will be the Best Graduating students in a row”.
He emphasised that for this reason, they have decided to Name the prize, The First Lady’s Price for Best Graduating female which is One Hundred thousand naira.
He urged the students to understand God will for increase and dominate their fields of endeavours to strive for excellency.
The winner of the 2024/2025 academic competition Patience Folorunsho who was very excited, thanked the Coordinator, Office of the First Lady for her motherly love and the cash price of One hundred naira.
High point of the Seminar was the presentation of awards and trophy to the winner.
