Edo 2024: Asue is Competent, Capable to govern Edo – Iyamu

The Lawmaker representing Orhionmwon South Constituency at the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Bright Iyamu has described the People Democratic Party PDP Goveronship Candidate in the September Gubernatorial election, Barr. Asue Ighodalo as the most qualified, competent, capable and energetic candidate worthy of being the next governor of Edo state.
Iyamu stated this during an interview with flomedia News at the Party’s Secretariat, Airport Road, Benin city, after the Inauguration of the PDP Campaign Council yesterday.
The lawmaker expressed optimism that Ighodalo will not disappoint the people of the state, considering his track records of effective leadership and outstanding profile built over the years.
Iyamu added “The PDP is the luckiest party in Edo to have gotten a better candidate with a very intimidating profile ahead of the Edo Gubernatorial Election.
“Asue Ighodalo is the man fit to continue from where Governor Godwin Obaseki will stop. He has a very good record of competency. As the former Chairman of Sterling Bank Plc and other multi- national companies, Asue stood tall to ensure the various establishment experienced transformation and fruitfulness. He has the requisite leadership skills and charisma to Govern Edo and this is just to mention a few”
On the caliber of people who made up the Campaign Team, Iyamu expressed confidence in the composition of the Campaign Team, adding that victory awaits the party, most especially with the appointment of Former NDDC Commissioner, Hon. Matthew Iduoriyekemwen as Director General.
