EDO 2024: PDP Shutdown Benin City as Asue,Ogie take Supporters on a Solidarity Rally

It was a total shutdown today in Benin City as the People’s Democratic Party, PDP Governorship candidate Dr Asue Ighodalo and his Deputy, Barr. Osarodion Ogie took thousands of party faithful on a solidarity tour across kings Square and Airport Road, Benin City.
The movement which began from King Square down to Airport Road and ended at the party secretariat had thousands of PDP faithful chanting and singing solidarity song. There were different groups with banners and placards of different inscription ” Men Wey Sabi”, “Them Go Do Am”.
The different streets adjoining airport road was agog with supporters of Dr Asue Ighodalo and Barr. Osarodion Ogie. Market women, road transport union and various support groups were all out to show their unwavering support to the candidate of the PDP.
In his friendly style, Dr Asue Ighodalo and Barr. Osarodion Ogie mount the moving truck and waved all the PDP party faithful.
The candidate who has rolled out his manifesto tagged PATHWAY TO PROSPERITY FOR ALL will address issues ranging from health, insecurity, transportation, human capital development, power and supporting women and Youth.
The love and massive support for Dr Asue and Barrister Ogie by the people of Edo cannot be overemphasized.
The essence of the solidarity rally is to prepare ahead of the main campaign which will commence soon.
PDP is the leading party in the forthcoming governorship election on the 21st September, 2024.
