Edo Decides: Governor Obaseki meets PDP stakeholders

Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki says PDP is fully ready for the Conduct of this Saturday’s Governorship election.
Governor Obaseki stated this in an interview with Newsmen on the outcome of the PDP caucus meeting held at his residence in Government House, Benin City.
He noted that the PDP as a party was also pleased with the assurances of security agencies in Nigeria, particularly that of the Inspector General of Police, Mr Kayode Egbetekun to ensure the smooth conduct of the election by ensuring a level playing field for all the Governorship contestants
Governor Obaseki further expressed appreciation on the preparedness of INEC ahead of the election, noting that the party will consider signing the peace accord once all the arrested PDP members have been released.
Earlier in a remark, Edo state PDP chairman, Dr Tony Azegbemeh said members have reviewed all the activities put in place by the party so far.
He appealed to Edo residents to come out en-mass on Saturday to vote PDP in the State Governorship election.
