Edo Deputy Governor urges Women Journalists to respect professional ethics

The Edo State Chapter of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ has been enjoined by the Deputy Governor to adhere strictly to the tenets of the profession in their reportage.
The Edo State Deputy Governor, Engr. Marvellous Omobayo made the statement when he received a delegation of Nigeria Association of women Journalists, NAWOJ, at his office in Benin.
Engr Omobayo used the opportunity of the visit to further restated his maximum support for the state Governor, Godwin Obaseki to finish strong on his Make Edo Great Again, MEGA project.
Earlier, the Chairperson of the Edo NAWOJ, Comrade Adesuwa Ehimuan who led the women’s umbrella body said the visit was to congratulates the deputy governor on his elevation as the number two citizen of the state.
Comrade Adesuwa Ehimuan further said the visit also aimed at strengthening the synergy and exploring areas of collaboration to promote the development of journalism and women empowerment in the State.
Highpoint of the visit was the joint presentation of congratulatory card to the deputy governor by the NAWOJ Executives.
