Edo First Lady Champions Free WAEC Registration

The Coordinator, Office of the First Lady Edo State, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, has reaffirmed her commitment to expanding access to education through her support for ENAW Free WAEC Examination Enrollment initiative.

She made the call during an event held at JOOPSA, Benin City, highlighting the importance of giving every child the opportunity to succeed through education.

She noted that education remains the bedrock of economic growth and societal development, urging parents and guardians to continually encourage their children to stay in school.

According to her, “Education is not a scam. It is the foundation for opportunity, empowerment, and a better future. We must guide our children to understand its value and take their studies seriously.”

She stated that the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, through his SHINE Agenda, has made education a key priority to ensure that every child goes to school and no child is left behind.

The Edo National Association Worldwide (ENAW), led by its first female National President, Engr. Bose Ogbeifun-Oviasu, alongside the Women Affairs Coordinator, Mrs. Meg Ogbeide Uzzi, stated that the association remains focused on implementing community driven initiatives across Edo State.

The initiative aim to eliminate financial barriers and ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to enroll for the WAEC examination and pursue their dreams.
