Edo First Lady’s Office Pay Tribute to Late NSCDC Commandant

The Coordinator Office Of The First Lady, Mrs Edesili Anani has condoled with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps (NSCDC), Edo State Command on the passing of Commandant Agun Gbenga Joseph.
Mrs. Anani who paid a condolence visit to the command in Benin City, said Commandant Agun Gbenga was a dedicated and tireless officer who worked relentlessly to protect lives and property.
She said his humility, friendliness, and intelligence earned him great respect and admiration. His dedication to duty and commitment to excellence will be deeply missed, adding that the NSCDC Edo State Command and the Nation have lost a dedicated officer.

Mrs. Anani prayed his soul to rest in peace and for the family to find comfort in the memories of his service and legacy.

The NSCDC Deputy Commandant, Bamidele Orejimi, while receiving the Coordinator Office Of The First Lady on behalf of Edo State Command appreciated her for coming for the condolence visit.
Commandant Agun Gbenga was born 1968 and passed on October 2nd 2025 during active service.
