Edo First Lady’s Office Urges Adoption of AI , Reading Culture

The Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, Edo State, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, has urged stakeholders to develop a reading culture and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance productivity.
She made this call during the launch of the book “You Can Escape The Matrix: Read and Grow Rich,” themed “From Reading to Revenue – Empowering a New Generation through the Digital Economy,” held at the Victoria Uwaifo Creative Hub in Benin City.
Mrs. Anani emphasized the importance of personal growth, relating it to the benefits of reading and embracing technology. She encouraged everyone to harness the opportunities presented by AI, noting that it has made life easier and more stable.
In his welcome address, the author, Chief Etinosa Omuemu, stressed the significance of reading for personal development. He commended His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, for his exceptional leadership and commitment to result-driven governance.
Professor Emmanuel Adeleke, a book reviewer from the University of Benin, described the book as “epic motivational literature” with “unusual insight and power.” He praised the author’s remarkable life story, from “rags to riches,” and noted the book’s ability to inspire and motivate readers.
The book launch event reached its pinnacle with a special award presentation ceremony, where His Excellency, Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, and Her Excellency, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, were honored for their exceptional leadership and digital transformation vision in Edo State.
This prestigious award recognizes their commitment to harnessing technology and innovation to drive growth and development in the state. The award serves as a testament to their dedication to empowering the people of Edo State and building a brighter future for generations to come.
