The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) is embroiled in a explosive public spat as President Emeka Rollas traded barbs with actress Regina Daniels and her mother Rita Daniels, escalating tensions over Daniels’ alleged substance issues and her family’s marital woes with billionaire husband Ned Nwoko.
In an Instagram statement on November 21, 2025, Rollas addressed “allegations, misconceptions, and unnecessary accusations” surrounding Daniels’ deepening divorce rumors, claiming her “ruinous habit” of substance abuse has been witnessed by industry elders like Jide Kosoko, Sanni Danja, Okey Bakassi, Charles Inojie, and Chinyere Wilfred on sets. “My concern is not to shame you… You need help. Many of our members have gotten help before you which the Guild was instrumental to,” he wrote, offering support while slamming Rita: “If your daughter’s home and health is in distress, AGN elections should not be your priority… All those celebs cheering you up to become AGN President are your enemies.”
Rollas accused Rita of justifying “harmful habits as ‘a celebrity lifestyle’,” endangering younger members, and blasted silent colleagues for piling on him instead of addressing the truth.
Regina’s Fiery Rebuttal: “You’re a Disgrace”
Daniels fired back on Facebook hours later, torching Rollas as a “disgrace” who “moves from one office to the other, enriching his pocket” without enforcing actor protections or residuals in eight years. “The only notable impact… is the office you opened recently, after seven years… which my family were a major sponsor.”
She escalated personally: “That’s how you get paid—bringing women to my family home several times, taking swimming lessons… luring high-profile men with women so your pocket can get bigger.” Daniels claimed Rollas was “paid chicken change” to smear her, crediting Rita for introducing him to her ex (likely Nwoko) and boosting his profile. “What happened to the fatherly figure I admired… because of the respect my mum had for you?”
Rita, eyeing AGN presidency, has been vocal in guild politics; Daniels’ post hints at sabotage amid her campaign.
Daniels’ Turmoil
The clash coincides with Daniels’ high-profile marital crisis—Nwoko’s recent arrests tied to family drama, her solo appearances, and substance rumors swirling since October. Daniels, 25, married Nwoko in 2019; they share two sons, Khan (5) and Munir (3). Her RHOA-like spotlight amplifies the mess.
