His mother confirmed the news to TMZ on November 26, 2025, describing him as “the sweetest person; he didn’t have a mean bone in his body.” Brother Michael Frazier shared the heartbreak on Facebook, noting Marquay passed away that morning:

“I lost my baby brother today… the feeling is a feeling I’ve never felt before. I truly appreciate all the texts and calls… im not going to be on social media for a little bit.”
