The Super Falcons of Nigeria have slipped to 37th position in the latest FIFA Women’s World Rankings, released on Thursday, December 11.
The team, coached by Justine Madugu, was previously ranked 36th and did not play any matches during the recent FIFA international break. Despite the slight drop, Nigeria remains Africa’s top-ranked women’s team.
Following the Super Falcons, Africa’s top five women’s teams are:

On the global stage, Spain retained the number one spot, followed by the United States, Germany, England, and Sweden in the top five.
