Group Lauds Council Chairman over Appointment of Youths

A group under the aegis of Orhionmwon League of Intellectuals of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has commended the Executive Chairman of Orhionmwon Local Government Council, Hon. Newman Ugiagbe for considering highly resourceful Youths for political appointments.
The group gave the commendations immediately after the appointment of Urhonigbe born Socio-Economic commentator, renowned writer and Literary Enthusiast, Comrade Ogiemwonyi Osazuwa as Chief Protocol Officer to Orhionmwon Council Chairman, an act which they described as ‘the triumph of potential capabilities’.
The coordinator of the group, Comrade Roy Osariemen who also doubled as the council’s Chief Press Secretary described the gesture of the ALGON Chairman as a unique feat that has never been experienced in the Council.
He asserted that the appointment shows the Chairman’s mindset of youth inclusive governance which is a pathway to development and societal transformation. “Newman Ugiagbe has changed the narratives that the time is Now for the youths instead of clinging to the cliche that the ‘youths are leaders of tomorrow’, thereby suffering from unholy neglect”
Other intellects, who joined the coordinator to receive the newly inaugurated appointee are: The Special Adviser to Orhionmwon Council Chairman, Comrade (Dcn) Jonathan Osas Okunbor, the Honourable Councillor representing Ugu Ward 09 in Orhionmwon Legislative Arm, Hon. Goodluck Osama Ogbeide, the Personal Assistant to the Council Boss, Comrade Godswill Destiny Omoruyi.
