Hon. Bright Iyamu Inspects Newly Completed Three-Classroom Block at Ofunmwengbe Primary School Ahead of Commissioning

The Member representing Orhionmwon-South Constituency at the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Bright Iyamu, on Wednesday, embarked on an on-site inspection of the newly completed three-classroom block at Ofunmwengbe Primary School, Ugboko-Niro, in Orhionmwon Local Government Area, a project initiated and executed under his constituency intervention efforts.
The visit was aimed at assessing the facility ahead of its official commissioning. During the inspection, Hon. Iyamu took time to interact warmly with pupils of the school and was conducted around the premises by the Head Teacher, Mr. Odigie Endurance.
In his remarks, Mr. Odigie expressed deep appreciation to Hon. Iyamu for his unwavering commitment to improving the quality of education and learning conditions in rural communities. He further lauded the lawmaker’s resolve to immediately commence the construction of a perimeter fence to enhance security for pupils and teachers, as well as the installation of a borehole to provide potable water within the school environment.
In continuation of his developmental tour, Hon. Iyamu also visited Urhonigbe-North and South Wards, where he carried out an on-the-spot assessment of strategic locations earmarked for the installation of solar-powered streetlights and industrial borehole facility. He disclosed that work on both projects would commence immediately, as part of his ongoing efforts to improve public lighting, ensure access to clean water, and promote community wellbeing across the constituency.
The visit was concluded with a courtesy visit to the Okaevbo of Urhonigbe, HRH. Pa Ehigiator Osahuwunowan, JP, during which Hon. Iyamu reaffirmed his steadfast commitment to sustaining visible and people-centered development across all wards in Orhionmwon-South Constituency.
