Hon. Bright Iyamu tasks security agencies, demands unconditional release of Edo PDP chairman

The honourable member representing Orhionmwon South Constituency, Hon. Bright Aitenguoba Iyamu, has urged the security agencies to work round the clock to ensure that the chairman of the People’s Democratic party PDP Dr. Tony Aziegbemi is released unhurt.

The Lawmaker in a press statement, condemned the dastardly act, and urged all security agencies particularly the Nigerian Police to ensure all hands are on deck to ensure his released.

According to the statement “Tony Aziegbemi as a noble and humble man and hope that he is released speedily and the issue of kiddnaping is nipped in the bud”.

He said “the security architecture should be immediately rejigged especially in the areas of intelligence gathering, that will not only proactively ensure the safety of citizens, but also guaranteed rapid response and effective rescue operations.

While calling on all and sundry to be security conscious at all times and report any suspicious movement in their neighbourhood to the security agencies, the lawmaker also charged the Security agencies to take urgent steps to release and secure Dr. Aziegbemi and all other Nigerians trapped in their abductors’ camps in various parts of the country.
