Iguododo Nuwa Development Association Donates Learning Materials to Pupils

In a show of commitment to educational development, the Iguododo Nuwa Development Association has donated exercise books and other school materials to pupils of Iguododo Primary School in Orhionmwon Local Government Area, Edo State.

The initiative, aimed at supporting young learners and easing the burden on parents, was commended by Hon. Bright Aitenguoba Iyamu, member representing Orhionmwon South Constituency, who described education as the “foundation of opportunity” and encouraged more community-driven contributions to local schools.

Dr. (Mrs.) Amen Ogbemudia, Chairman of the Directorate of Education Quality Assurance, also lauded the gesture, noting that such interventions complement government efforts in improving the quality of education at the grassroots.

The Chairman of the Association, Mr. Matthew Omoruyi, expressed gratitude to members and well-meaning individuals who contributed to the success of the project. He emphasized that the association remains committed to uplifting the standard of education and development in Iguododo community.

Receiving the materials on behalf of the school, the Head Teacher, Mr. Isayande Lucky, appreciated the donors for their thoughtfulness and assured that the items would be put to effective use by the pupils. He urged other groups and individuals to emulate the example set by the association.

The event not only brought smiles to the faces of the pupils but also strengthened the community’s resolve to invest in the future of its children through education.
