A private jet operated by Flybird Airlines crash-landed at Malam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) on Sunday morning, but all passengers and crew were safely evacuated.
The aircraft, arriving from Abuja, went down around 9:30 a.m. while attempting to land at Kano airport. Onboard were 11 passengers, including three crew members.
Eyewitnesses reported that emergency response teams promptly arrived at the scene, ensuring everyone was safely removed from the jet. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported.
Airport authorities quickly secured the area to prevent further risks and began preliminary safety procedures.
Aviation officials are expected to conduct investigations to determine the cause of the crash, though no official statement has been released as of press time.
