The Hisbah Board in Dandume Local Government Area, Katsina State, has arrested several men and women during a coordinated raid on a house reportedly used for immoral activities, including suspected sexual acts among unmarried youths.
The board’s Information Officer, Malam Abdullahi Muntari, stated that the operation took place on December 17, 2025, at around 9:30 p.m. The raid was led by Acting Operations Commander, Malam Aliyu Ahmed, following reports of inappropriate activities at the residence.
Muntari expressed concern over the incident, saying:
“It is unfortunate that some people are comfortable letting their house become a den for foul activities. We arrested several young men and women and will investigate the matter properly.”
He added that the board will continue such operations to safeguard the moral values of the community.
