  • Date and Venue

    • The 2025 CAF Awards ceremony is set for 19 November 2025.

    • It will be held in Rabat, Morocco, at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P)

    • Event Hosts & Entertainment

    • The ceremony will be co-hosted by Beninese singer Angélique Kidjo and Moroccan comedian Oualass.

    • Performances will include Moroccan singer Douaa Lahyaoui, Congolese artist Awilo Longomba, and Ghanaian musician Fuse ODG.

  • Categories & Awards

    • The awards will honor a wide range of categories, including:

      • African Player of the Year (Men & Women)

      • Goalkeeper of the Year (Men & Women)

      • Interclub Player of the Year

      • Coach of the Year (Men)

      • Club of the Year, National Team of the Year (Men & Women)

      • CAF Goal of the Year

    • Note: Some women’s categories (Coach of the Year, Interclub Player, Club of the Year) winners will be announced later due to the ongoing CAF Women’s Champions League.

    • For Men’s African Player of the Year, the finalists are:

      • Achraf Hakimi (Morocco / PSG)

      • Mohamed Salah (Egypt / Liverpool)

      • Victor Osimhen (Nigeria / Galatasaray)

    • For Goalkeeper of the Year (Men), the shortlisted names include Yassine Bounou, Munir Mohamedi, and Ronwen Williams.

  • Women’s Nominees

    • CAF has released the nominees for women’s categories.

    • Among the women’s player of the year names are Portia Boakye (Ghana), Tabitha Chawinga, and Temwa Chawinga (both Malawi).
