Kindness Abounds: Edo First Lady’s Office Supports Family with Newborn

The Coordinator Office of the First Lady, Edo State, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, has delivered relief materials, food stuff and diapers to the family of Mr. Saviour Sunday and Mrs. Beauty Sunday in their resident at Ugboro Street, Central Raod, off Airport Road, Benin City.
Recall the baby’s parents, Mr. Saviour Sunday and Mrs. Beauty Sunday, from Akwa Ibom State, were held in the hospital because of outstanding bill of N1.4 million. The couple had been referred from one hospital to another, incurring significant medical expenses for their premature baby boy, born on 29th May 2025. The family, medical bills was settled by Edo State Government.
Mrs. Anani, emphasized the State Government’s commitment to the welfare of all residents. She highlighted Senator Monday Okpebholo’s prioritization of healthcare and his efforts to ensure access to quality medical care for everyone.

She said “our major concern is for the baby to be heal and healthy, if you notice anything go to the nearest hospital for proper medical check up. Take good care the baby and ensure he takes all his immunization. The Coordinator Office of the First Lady was represented by the Permanent Secretary, Government House, Mrs. Edith Sede.
Mrs. Beauty Sunday expressed gratitude for the relief materials and food stuff, appreciated His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo and the Coordinator office of the First Lady, Mrs Edesili Okpebholo Anani for their kindness and unflinching support.
This initiative demonstrates Edo State Government’s dedication to supporting its citizens, particularly those in need.
