Lawmaker charges Muslim faithful on good neighborliness at Ramadan

The member representing Orhionmwon South constituency in Edo state House of Assembly, Hon. Bright Iyamu has called on the Muslim ummah to pray for the well-being and advancement of the state.
In an an interview with journalists in Benin city, Iyamu noted that as Muslim ummah begin the 30-day Ramadan fast today, he wishes them strength, perseverance and fortitude to go through the service to Almighty Allah and for the edification of their spirit, soul and body and of course, for the peace, unity and progress of Orhionmwon South and Edo State in general.
According to him “It is my earnest prayer that the Almighty Allah accepts your fasting and showers you with manifold blessings as you take the right path of life , above all, may you and your family enjoy the length of days that you desire and may your lives be filled with prosperity and happiness”.
Iyamu encouraged all Muslim Ummah to pray fervently during the Holy Month of Ramadan, and equally charged them on good neighbourliness.
He added that ” the fasting period should serve as a time for reflection, dedication, love and care for everyone.”
“May your heart also be filled with purity and may you all be at peace with all men and women of goodwill. “Ramadan Mubarak”, he added.
