Nollywood actress Lizzy Gold has opened up about her relationship status, urging fans and well-wishers to stop pressuring her into marriage, despite being a mother of two.

Known for her captivating screen presence and candid personality, Gold emphasized that marriage is not currently on her agenda. She stated that she is content with her life and committed to raising her children, describing herself as “married to my kids.”

The actress recounted that attending wedding ceremonies—especially those of colleagues in the entertainment industry—often prompts intrusive questions about when it will be her “turn.” She called such comments unnecessary and insensitive.

“It’s not going to be my turn anytime soon. I’m not thinking about getting married, it’s not in my thoughts. I have two kids, and I’m focused on them. Nobody should pressure me to rush into marriage. I will wait for the right man in God’s time,” Gold explained, emphasizing that she will not settle for just anyone.

Addressing the notion that remaining single is a failure or a moral flaw, Lizzy Gold dismissed such assumptions, stating that women can live fulfilling and righteous lives without being married. “If no man comes, it’s not a sin to remain single. You can be single and still make heaven, as long as you live right. Heaven is the goal,” she added.

Gold also clarified that she has never faced pressure from her family regarding marriage. Despite her younger sister being married for over a decade, Lizzy insists that her marital status is her personal choice.

“I have never been pressured at home. Whether I marry or not is nobody’s business. I am single, unbothered, and at peace with my decisions,” she concluded.
