The Ministers Forum International (MFI) hosted a special dinner in honor of Apostle Sule Faraday, Special Adviser to the Edo State Governor on Religious Matters, at Revival Age Ministry Inc., Faith Arena, Ekenwan Road, Benin City. Apostle Faraday, a founding member and Board of Trustees (BOT) member of MFI, was recognized for his dedication to religious leadership and public service.
The event brought together ministers from various Christian denominations, including the Anglican, Catholic, Assemblies of God, Methodist, Baptist, and several Pentecostal churches, reflecting the unity and diversity within the forum.
Speaking at the occasion, Rev. Dr. Steven Loen, the officiating minister, emphasized the significance of honoring leaders within the faith community. “God has chosen to honor Apostle Sule Faraday among the mighty, and we must celebrate our own. We will continue to pray for the state and for His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo.”
In her remarks, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani, Coordinator, Office of the First Lady, expressed gratitude to MFI for recognizing Apostle Faraday’s contributions. “When you honor your own, the Lord will honor you. A new Edo has risen under the distinguished leadership of Senator Monday Okpebholo, and we will return for thanksgiving.”
Apostle Sule Faraday, who also serves as *Chaplain of Government House, Edo State*, expressed his gratitude for the recognition. He thanked his colleagues for their support and appreciated Governor Monday Okpebholo for entrusting him with the role. “I am deeply honored by this gathering and the confidence His Excellency has placed in me. I remain committed to serving with dedication.”
The event highlighted the growing collaboration between religious leaders and the state government in fostering spiritual and societal development.
