NAWOJ National President Appoints Adesuwa Ehimuan as Special Adviser

The National Chairperson of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Comrade Aisha Bura has appointed the Edo State Chairman of NAWOJ, Comrade Adesuwa Ehimuan as Special Assistant.
Comrade Adesuwa Ehimuan was announced at the National Executive Council Meeting of the Association tagged Imo 2025 at Owerri, Imo State.
The NEC Meeting had its theme, “Amplifying Change: the Media, Legislation and the Advancement of Women” held on 22nd November, 2025.
According to the National Chairperson, the services of Adesuwa Ehimuan are still needed for the growth of the Association.
“Comrade Adesuwa Ehimuan will soon complete her two‑term tenure as Chairperson of Edo State, making her the first person in Edo to serve in that capacity. Throughout her service, she has been excellent, goal‑oriented, hardworking, dedicated and committed. We would not like to lose her service”.
“On that note, on the power vested on me as the National Chairperson, I appoint her as an SA”, Comrade Aisha Bura said.
