The Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF) has congratulated the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, on his victory at the polls.
In a statement, the Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Kwara State, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, acknowledged Governor Adeleke’s achievements and personal qualities, noting that they contributed significantly to his success in the keenly contested election.
The Forum also commended the people of Osun State for their impressive turnout during the election, stressing that the strong interest generated by the off-cycle poll once again demonstrates the resilience of Nigeria’s democracy.
The NGF further called on all stakeholders to sustain the spirit of democratic participation and continue to uphold the values of peaceful elections, good governance and respect for the democratic process.
