Office of the First Lady admonishes for a Cleaner Edo State

The Coordinator, Edo State Office of the First lady, Edo State, Mrs. Edesili Okpebholo Anani has called on residents of Edo State, to sustain the revive tradition that is close to the peoples’ hearts; the monthly environmental sanitation exercise.

 

Mrs. Anani stated this in a press statement in Benin City, the state capital.

 

Mrs. Anani said she’s deeply grateful to Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo for restoring this nitiative, which is crucial for a cleaner, healthier environment.

 

She noted as they work side by side to clean and beautify communities, they should remember that every small action counts, adding that each properly cleared drainage, every swept street, and every properly disposed plastic, organic waste material, and other waste component is a symbol of collective commitment to a better tomorrow.

 

Mrs. Anani explained that clean environment is not just a reflection of their pride; it is a fundamental right that ensures their well-being and that of future generations.

 

She urged each one of them to participate with enthusiasm and inspire others to do the same, stressing that it makes the initiative a huge success, not just for today, but for the long-term benefit of their beloved State.

 

The Coordinator thanked volunteers, community leaders, and government agencies for their dedication, adding that their efforts will not go unnoticed.

 

She urged everyone to join hands to build a cleaner, greener, and more beautiful Edo State, where the children can thrive and communities can flourish.
