Office of the First Lady Partners World Health Organization

In the quest to enhance the healthcare sector in Edo State, The coordinator office of the first Lady, Mrs Edesili Anani has pledged to partner the World Health Organisation in promoting healthcare policies and programmes geared toward providing better services to Edo state residents.
The commitment was reiterated by the Coordinator during a meeting with delegates from World Health Organisation in her office at the Government House in Benin City.
Mrs Anani asserted that the Governor Monday Okpebholo led administration is passionate about the health of the residents, particularly women and children.
The State Coordinator of WHO, Dr. Eyo Nora, emphasized the need for collaboration with the office of the Edo State First Lady for effective healthcare delivery.
She enumerated the importance of taking vaccination and immunization campaigns and to the grassroots in order to reduce the risk of preventable diseases in the society.
Also in attendance was the Commissioner for Health, Dr Cyril Oshiomole.
The partnership highlights Edo State Government Commitments and dedication to the healthcare sector.
