ONEDOSH Raises $3M Pre-Seed to Build Global Stablecoin Payment Rails

  BY Comfort Asemota

Nigerian fintech startup OneDosh has closed a $3 million pre-seed round to accelerate the development of stablecoin-powered payment infrastructure designed to make money move seamlessly across borders.

Founded in February 2025 by Jackson Ukuevo (CEO), Godwin Okoye, and Babatunde Osinowo, OneDosh was born from real-world friction: blocked cards, frozen accounts, slow cross-border transfers, and currency constraints experienced by the founders while living and travelling globally.

Their conclusion? The problem isn’t demand — it’s infrastructure.

Today, OneDosh is already live in two of the world’s most active remittance and stablecoin corridors: the United States and Nigeria.

Users can:

  • Move money from the US to Nigeria instantly
  • Store value in stablecoins
  • Spend globally using stablecoin-powered cards on Apple Pay and Google Pay, anywhere Visa is accepted

But the vision goes far beyond remittances.

Under the hood, OneDosh is building foundational stablecoin rails — programmable infrastructure that connects wallets, cards, and countries into a unified system.

As stablecoins become the default settlement layer for global payments, these rails are positioned to become the backbone of the new financial system.

The founding team brings heavyweight experience from ZeroHash, Plaid, and Amazon, spanning compliance, payments, and large-scale product development.

The $3M pre-seed will fuel:

  • Corridor expansion
  • Deeper liquidity partnerships
  • Senior hires to scale operations

OneDosh isn’t theorising about borderless money — it’s building it, live, right now.

The future of global payments isn’t coming. It’s already here — and it’s powered by stablecoins.

Welcome to the era of truly borderless money. 🚀🌍
