Orhionmwon PDP kicks off Community to Community Campaign at Ogan, Abudu Evbuobanosa, Abiokunla Ward 1

The Orhionmwon chapter of the PDP Campaign team has kicked off the Community to Community Campaign with a visit to Ogan, Abudu, and Evbuobanosa communities in Abiokunla in Ward One of the LGA.

The campaign train witnessed a massive turnout of supporters with mammoth crowd taking over and overwhelming the streets. The joyous supporters, filled with enthusiasm, danced to melodious songs as they welcomed the PDP team with open arms.

Hon. Bright Iyamu, who represents Orhionmwon South Constituency in the Edo State House of Assembly, took the center stage, passionately canvassing for votes for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming election.

His message resonated with the crowd as he highlighted the party’s commitment to the development of Orhionmwon LGA .

Hon. Iyamu said, ” thumb print on the umbrella symbol that represents PDP, names will not appear on the ballot paper, only the symbol of PDP, which is an umbrella, will be on the ballot paper, Vote PDP for a brighter Orhionmwon”.

The lawmaker further stated ” vote AiO², Vote PDP so all ongoing project in Orhionmwon will be completed and more development will be attracted to Orhionmwon “.

Earlier, the campaign team was further energized by the presence of the Orhionmwon Council Chairman, Hon. Newman Ugiagbe, who emphasized the importance of voting for the PDP. “A vote for PDP is a vote for the development of Orhionmwon LGA,” he declared, urging the communities to stand firmly behind the party to ensure continued progress and prosperity.

Adding to the momentum, a larger group of defectors led by Hon friday Osula , Kingsley Aiyevbomwen and Akolo isaac, who had recently switched allegiance to the PDP showed up at the rally.

They vowed to support the party in the upcoming elections, expressing their confidence in the PDP’s ability to deliver on its promises.

The Orhionmwon PDP party chairman, Prince Stanley Iduozee received the decampees in their hundreds in Orhionmwon, Aibiokunla Ward 1 and also presented the PDP branded umbrellas and face-cap that symbolises PDP with a commitment from the defectors to vote for the party during the forthcoming election.

The day’s activities set a positive tone for the PDP’s campaign in Orhionmwon, with party leaders and supporters alike optimistic about their chances in the forthcoming election.

The overwhelming support and energy displayed during the campaign visit underscored the strong connection between the PDP and the communities in Abiokunla Ward 1.
