Popular TikTok content creator Peller has broken his silence following his arrest by the Lagos State Police Command over hazardous driving and a reported suicide attempt.
In a video circulating on social media, Peller expressed deep remorse for his actions and pleaded for public forgiveness. “I am sorry, Nigerians. Please, I’m sorry. I will never do that again. I’m very sorry, please. For now, I am on medication. Once I am done with my medication, I will be online,” he stated.
The incident is reportedly linked to Peller’s recent breakup with his girlfriend, Jarvis, who announced the end of their relationship, citing his emotional management issues as a major factor.
The Lagos State Police Command confirmed that Peller’s actions were considered a deliberate attempt at self-harm and posed a serious risk to other road users.
According to police reports, the incident occurred on Sunday, December 14, 2025, when Peller was allegedly seen livestreaming while driving recklessly, resulting in a serious accident on the Lekki–Epe Expressway in Lagos.
Authorities revealed that the case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for a comprehensive investigation, with Peller expected to be arraigned in court once the probe concludes.
In response, the Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, issued a stern warning to social media influencers and digital content creators. He emphasized that showcasing reckless acts online will attract strict consequences and highlighted the importance of responsible behavior on digital platforms.
