Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has opened up about the deep pain of being separated from her two young sons amid her ongoing marital crisis with politician and businessman Ned Nwoko.
In a heartfelt Instagram post on December 15, 2025, she shared an emotional video of a recent video call with her children, revealing that she hasn’t spoken to them since mid-November after leaving the marriage.
Regina accused Ned of using various methods to block her access to the boys, including dismissing all her chosen nannies and allegedly pressuring them to make false claims about her being violent and abusing alcohol in front of the children. She claimed he has since filed for full custody, even though the kids are already in his care.
She also criticized him for repeatedly posting the children on social media during this sensitive period, suggesting it’s a deliberate way to draw negative attention rather than focusing on their well-being as a responsible parent and public figure.
In her caption, Regina wrote: “No mother can be at peace while separated from her children… I may be young, but I am such a mum. I enjoy being a mum and I miss being a mum. It’s so crazy if their father thinks I won’t come for my children. I will definitely see my kids soon!”
This comes after Regina cited domestic violence as a reason for leaving the marriage last month, while Ned has publicly attributed their issues to her alleged struggles with drugs and alcohol, urging her to seek treatment—claims she has denied or countered in prior statements.
The couple, who share sons Munir and Khalifa, have been in the spotlight since their 2019 marriage.
The situation remains a he-said-she-said dispute with serious allegations on both sides, and no official court updates on custody have been reported as of December 16, 2025.
