Popular Nigerian singer Rema has sparked social media buzz after seemingly throwing subtle shade at his friend and fellow artist Ayra Starr.
Reacting to the singer’s relocation, Rema shared a cryptic message about how financial success can affect community relationships.
While quoting a Bible verse that encourages people to love their neighbors, Rema wrote: “Love ur neighbor as yourself but once money land you change neighborhood. No wam.”
His post quickly drew a reaction from Ayra Starr, who jumped into the comment section and wrote: “Wait… Remyyyyy.”
