Rob Reiner, Hollywood Director, and Wife Found Dead at Home

Rob Reiner, the iconic filmmaker behind classics like When Harry Met Sally, The Princess Bride, Stand by Me, Misery, and A Few Good Men, and his wife Michele Singer Reiner, a renowned photographer, were found dead in their Brentwood, Los Angeles home on Sunday, December 14, 2025. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) is investigating the deaths as an apparent homicide, with reports indicating both suffered stab wounds.

The couple—aged 78 and 68 respectively—was discovered around 3:40 p.m. PT after a medical aid call. LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division is leading the probe; no arrests have been announced, though a family member is reportedly being questioned.
