Rural Electrification: Bright Iyamu inspects High Voltage Step-Down Transformer at Ogan

In a bid to provide electricity to his constituency which was one of his campaign promises to the people, the lawmaker representing Orhionmwon South Constituency in Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Bright Iyamu, yesterday visited the High Voltage Step-Down Transformer at the Ogan Community, Abiokula Ward One, Orhionmwon, as part of evaluation and onward preparation for the electrification of parts of Ugboko Ward, starting from Iguododo axis and its environs.
The Ogan High Voltage Step-Down Transformer which was drawn from Agbor, Delta State, is no doubt the highest Alternating Current (AC) Power Supply in Orhionmwon, as it consists of both Primary and Secondary Winding/ Iron Core, making it a joint socket to supply other axis through the installation of distribution line structures, using thick insulated copper wire and erection of poles in the area where there were none.
During the inspection, Iyamu restated his commitment to ensuring that the people of Orhionmwon South Constituency enjoys the dividends of Democracy, adding that he will not leave any stone unturned in attracting people-oriented developmental policies and valuable projects to the people.
The Enogie of Ugboko, HRH, Solomon Ogiomade and other notable Stakeholders appreciated the lawmaker for the bold step.
